Alpine group transport · winter & summer
Decades of Alpine operations and tour operator experience, behind every transfer. The same standards for corporate, school, sports and private groups, all year round.
Why MoveAlps
Built to take the stress out of transfer day.
We’ve sat on your side of the desk. We know what can go wrong during a peak winter turnover — and we built our entire operational structure around the four pillars tour operators need most.
From overhead bridge clearances to tight resort access roads, our drivers know every Alpine valley and local restriction inside out.
Deal directly with native English-speaking ops team members who understand tour operator schedules, rep needs and guest expectations.
We track inbound flights and mountain weather live, adjusting driver schedules and rerouting vehicles before delays reach your guests.
Backed by local Savoie depots and a full-scale fleet, we have the density and network depth to absorb breakdowns, delays and last-minute changes.
What we do
Whether you are locking in a full winter series, running a corporate event or moving a cycling group over the passes — we have the fleet scale and expertise to execute.
Summer & winter
The mountains don’t stop when the ski lifts close. Our teams and vehicles move groups twelve months a year — whatever the group, whatever the reason.
Resort arrivals and departures, snow chains, closed passes and peak traffic: our home ground.
Cycling, golf, hiking, water sports and summer camps: the right vehicles and drivers who know the high mountain roads.
Seminars, incentives, conferences, weddings and private groups across the Alps and beyond.
Operational expertise
Decades of tour operator transfer management means we anticipate mountain disruptions before they reach your guests.
We track every inbound flight across Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble, Chambéry and Turin in real time. Drivers are re-briefed and schedules re-aligned before your airport reps notice a delay.
Rockfalls, snow closures, peak traffic — our dispatchers monitor regional networks continuously, switching to pre-planned low-altitude detours the moment a pass restricts access.
From strict height and weight limits to narrow chalet lanes and timed drop-off windows, our local drivers know every resort restriction before leaving the depot.
Our transfer planning systems are being built around tour operator workflows, with manifest synchronisation and native English operational support.
Proven under pressure
When the Icelandic ash cloud grounded flights across Europe, we replanned the full repatriation to multiple UK destinations, with no flights and no playbook. Every guest got home.
A mid-season rockfall closed the main access route. We rerouted, communicated in real time and delivered every transfer on the day.
Our fleet
Modern vehicles from 1 to 63 passengers — our own fleet, matched to your group size and resort requirements.
Fiat Scudo & light vans
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Volvo 9700, 49 seats — more space, same mountain capability.
Volvo 9700 — the backbone of our fleet.
70% of our transfer fleet runs on B100 biofuel made from 100% French rapeseed, with certificates of origin. That means immediate, verifiable CO₂ reductions on every mountain transfer to help meet your sustainability goals.
A full coach is one of the most carbon-efficient ways to move people through the Alps — and at the end of each season we give partners an audited certificate of the CO₂ displaced.
